About Andrea's Home Care:
Andrea's Home care is a certified Home & Community-Based Service Program (HCS) that serves individuals with Intellectuals and Developmental Disabilities. Our mission to improve and make a difference in the lives of everyone we serve.
The Texas HCS program is a Medicaid Waiver program that was developed to provide individualized services and support to persons with intellectual disabilities who are living with their family, in their own home or in other community setting, such as small group homes.
Residential Support Services
This service provides supervision and assistance in a group home setting from service provider staff who remain awake during normal sleeping hours. Most individuals who receive residential support services do so to address medical conditions, maladaptive behaviors, and assistance with activities of daily living.
Foster Companion Care Provider
These services are provided to individuals of all ages in a homelike environment as an alternative to living in a group home.
Supportive Employment
This service helps sustain paid employment for individuals who, because of their disability, require intensive, ongoing support.
Rx
This service includes prescription drug coverage as authorized by Medicaid, Medicare Plan D or private insurance. Cost is not part of the individual's plan of care.
